1. Not a medical device
Haarks Clinic ("the Service") is provided by Haarks International Pvt Ltd as an information-organisation and personal knowledge-management platform. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a regulated medical device under applicable laws.
2. No medical advice or clinical decision support
The Service helps you store, organise, and retrieve knowledge that you yourself create or provide. It does not generate medical advice, recommendations, or clinical decisions. Nothing produced by the Service should be interpreted as a directive to take or refrain from any clinical action.
3. Professional judgement is required
You are a qualified, registered medical professional and remain fully and solely responsible for all clinical decisions, diagnoses, and treatments. 4. AI-generated output may be wrong
The Service uses artificial intelligence to retrieve and summarise information. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading. You must independently verify any information before relying on it in any clinical or professional context. Do not act on Service output without confirming it against authoritative sources and your own judgement.
5. Patient data, consent & confidentiality
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and any necessary patient consent to process the information you put into the Service, and for complying with all applicable medical-records, confidentiality, privacy, and data-protection laws. Haarks Clinic operates on a zero-storage model for patient files as described in the Privacy Policy, but lawful handling of patient information remains your responsibility.
6. No professional relationship
Use of the Service does not create a doctor-patient relationship between Haarks and any individual, nor a professional advisory relationship between Haarks and you. Haarks does not practise medicine.
7. Emergencies
The Service is not designed for use in medical emergencies and must never be relied upon in an emergency. In an emergency, follow established emergency protocols and contact appropriate emergency services immediately.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haarks International Pvt Ltd disclaims all liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from reliance on the Service or any output it produces. This Medical Disclaimer is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.
